Are you changing enough, is the question. Do you have rave parties fuelled by Ecstacy? Orgies with young nubiles? Eh? I ask you!Hard Brexit now!

Depend on how you qualify it. If you are of the ilk unless I touch him and see him etc I am not convinced that there is a God because of all the evil in the world, natural disasters etc then you are an agnostic. If however you profess there is no God, in fact you claim that there cannot be a God period – and nothing ever will change your mind etc then you are an atheist and that is an illogical position to hold. There is a distinction and an important one at that.Originally posted by The Lone GunmanDifficult question, but I am convinced there is no God. Will that do?Sola gratia

The argument that you present that suggests that atheism is an illogical "position to hold" applies equally to the argument that says there is a god. Neither argument is supported by any physical definate proof/touch him feel him. So the only logical position to hold is agnostic.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Therein lies the problem. I do not believe there is a God and nothing is ever going to change that except possibly one thing. If God actualy turned up, and even the most convinced would be a fool to deny the actuality.Originally posted by ChicoDepend on how you qualify it. There is no God.
Why do you say it is illogical to be atheist? Dont give me all the rubbish about infinite possibilities. To argue that point would mean that you also believe in the possibility that God may not exist and you are worshipping a myth.
I believe the atheist position is the correct one in a logical sense.
The belief in God is the illogical position. To base your whole life on myth and legend would seem somewhat of a waste if it turns out wrong.
As a logical question would you require someone to believe in Santa, the Tooth Fairy and that the moon is made of green cheese untill we can prove beyond all reasonable doubt that they dont exist?
You carry on following your delusions dear buy, it is my belief that you and any other believers are quite mad, but as long as your faith doesnt make you dangerous I am willing to ignore it.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Keep tuned folks.

How about we get a traditional god believer and a convicted murderer in a hospital under controlled conditions, stop their hearts, wait for 6 minutes then revive them while filming the whole experience, monitoring their brainwaves and asking them what happened.
If the god believer sees a white light and the murderer sees a wall of darkness then at least we've proved absolutely nothing. If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
