Engineered Wood Flooring

Want to fit an engineered wood flooring, had made my mind up on using a brand called Kahrs which I told was very good the 'Audi' of flooring, but I've heard its not that great now marks easy etc. I've also looked at the B&Q stuff about the same price now its in the sale at £36 per m2. Any one fitted either of these be it Kahrs or the B&Q stuff and got any comments on them ?

yeah I fitted a Kahrs oak floor last year with under floor heating. Fairly easy really, planks click in place. Be sure to leave at least 1.5cm expansion gap and make sure the floor is level before hand. Use one of the planks to sweep round and look for gaps. You'll need a decent chop saw too. Not cheap but nice finish.

I'm was looking at the Provence Nature Oak, saw it in the shop for £61 a m2 online £36.25

it can dent easily if you drop heavy sharp objects on it. But then again Oak is fairly soft, but a few dings here and there add to the rustic look. Mine looks better than when I fitted it as the sunlight gradually deepens the wood colour.
Kahrs was recommended to me by a builder who loves fitting it, have to agree it was easy really, clicks together and stays together. Nuff said. YOu get what you pay for.
