a just released DVD of Affinity, the 2008 film based on Julie Waters' book of the same name.
The book was brilliant, like all her others such as Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith. Unlike the films of these though, I was slightly disappointed, especially by its ending. Maybe the tense atmospheric nature of the plot is hard to convey in film.
