Wow, Dow Jones has fallen ALMOST 1%.

I mean apart from going up 50% in the last few months, that's a big drop.

Story going round is that it's a protest against all this talk of pay cuts.

Another story going round is that a bug has been found in the auto trading software of one of the banks that had outsourced development to India back in April.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

              As you were chaps

Dow ended the day right where it left off before it plundged yesterday.

In light of major stuff-up on £ this morning (Gross Domestic Product in negative figures!), thought I'd revive this thread

UK GDP figures -0.4 against expected 0.2%. That's negative output in English folks.
£ sunk big-time on the news.

So who said the recession was over? Oh yes, Gordon Brown

Yeah, and FTSE up another 1% already.

Let me explain. The only thing that is going to cause a crash is a global financial meltdown, banks going bust etc.

This ain't gonna happen as they will always be bailed out with our (taxpayers) money.

The banks can't lose and therefore the stock market cannot fall.

Anyone not piling in is missing out on massive amounts of free money.
