Before your'e peity gets ahead of you, you righteous *****, may I suggest that when you go to work for your next "client", that maybe you would like to take a close look at their sales and marketing tactics; whether they be a bank, Insurance company, retailer or whatever.

I think you will find that the behaviour of agents is crude unsophisticated, clumsy, and even honest when compared to your client.

Yep, your'e definitely a dodgy agent... resorting to swearing when you are losing an arguement. As for my next client, its the NHS. Ill ask them about their sales and marketing tactics and get back to you.... doubt that Surgeons, Nurses and Doctors give out deliberately misleading information, or neglect to mention which portion of someones body they are going to remove though.

Crude, yes, unsophisticated, yes, clumsy yes, honest.... erm, no. Still getting 3 out of 4 right isnt bad for an agent. Normally it's about 1 in 10. For example, Scotland is not in London, which many agents south of the border seem to be confused about.

If they refuse and it really bothers you don't use the agency, its that simple.

Well, you have considerably more experience in that field, it must be said.

And yes, at least you can spell argument.

The entry requirements for agents are even lower than I suspected.

Ah, Dodgy, I have skills that earn me a living, I dont live off others peoples by trying to manipulate them.

Besides, an agency wouldnt accept me, as I know the difference betwen Sequel Server and SQL Server. Oh, and I wouldnt have to ask 'so, you have 3 years experience of C#... have you used Dot Net... ?'

I also got a call today for a citibank contact
with the standard line of providing 2 references
why tf** they need references before even fixing an interview

Yep, I had that too, last week. I just replied that I would only give them when the interview process had started and they tried to blackmail me saying I wouldnt be put forward without them. I just said 'ok, thats a shame'. Later that day I got an email saying my CV had been forwarded to the client. Next time that happens, Im just going to approach an agent I trust and tell them Citibank is recruiting, get in there mate.
