          Thanks Clarky,

Shirts are off all over Newcastle today, as a mini heatwave has struck accross the North East of England.
Temperatures have soared to 80's, and a breeze can hardly be felt throughout most of County Durham and the Sunderland area.

A spokesman from the Newcastle Tourist Board said "Aye - wa'r expectin a canny crowd doon the toon the neet like. People'll be monged aal ouwa thi bigg market n keyside by aboot 6 like, due ti the wetha."

Civil Servants all accross the region have already packed up their desks for the week, and local publicans are recording record takings for September!

          Back to the studio!
