In the last recession (2002 - 2003) CUK was really humming and I suggested the activity here was inversely related to the state of the market because, presumably, benchees had more time on their hands.
But these days that theory doesn't seem to apply, I hope not because those on the bench are too down in the dumps to post.Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

Are there still so many on the bench OH?Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostI hope not because those on the bench are too down in the dumps to post.
I've not been on here as much lately myself really, so I've not kept up. But it seemed to me that more and more people were finding work? The pope is a tard.Comment

79 members and 355 guests!!
WTF?!!!
(A) How are there only 79 members online?!!! That is stupidly low!! Where is everybody?!
(B) Why are there 355 people lurkling in the background without a login?!!
If you get rid of all the SP's, there's probaly only me, a couple of geeks and 355 HMRC representatives and agents hanging around sniffing for leads?!
RIP CUK

I suspect most people just browse the forum without logging in.
I only log in if I want to post.
You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.
