many people dont organise their pictures properly once they are digitised. Dates all over the place, dupes everywhere, folders all over the shop.

Offer them an external drive cleaned up 'photo album' sourced from their pc

A good, simple feasible plan B. Whenever I've searched for this kind of service I've found only a handful of places and they seem to be not very well marketed.

Why didn't I think of it? Actually I probably did but did nothing about it which speaks volumes.

I'm tempted to use this as it is yet another thing that I haven't got round to getting done.

Taking that idea further you could offer the option of delivering images in a variety of popular photo library import formats (or complete libraries themselves), online photo album services etc.

you should also be contacting libraries, planning departments and businesses for example in architecture & design who store many thousand photographs....

that was a free bit of info, dont forget me when you strike it rich.

I tried that about 4 years ago. The trouble was I didn't get the marketing right and ended up spending too much time eliminating crackles and pops from LPs that hadn't been looked after properly. At the other end of the scale the true hi-fi connoisseurs were doing it for themselves from much better source kit than I wanted to invest in for a Plan C.

Not being a pedant mate, you are seeking constructive criticism here, but you really need to get someone to proof read your site. I've just had a cursory glance at it once and noticed 6 or 7 typos.
