Have you fully regained movement/range/dexterity in the hand though?Comment

Index finger knuckle is half in further back than it should be (too much bone & tissue loss) so I can't make a fist without the index finger sticking out a bit, but I have full strength back and can support my full weight on the hand (fingertips alone), so they did an excellent job.Originally posted by realityhack View PostThat's amazing - it looks like they did an excellent job.

Just have to keep an eye on it as no nerves in the back of the hand at all, so I don't know if I injure it.Confusion is a natural state of beingComment

Incredible. That must've been some specialist surgery and a half. Not so long ago and you'd have a Hamza Hook instead.Originally posted by Diver View PostIndex finger knuckle is half in further back than it should be (too much bone & tissue loss) so I can't make a fist without the index finger sticking out a bit, but I have full strength back and can support my full weight on the hand (fingertips alone), so they did an excellent job.
