My local butcher makes a great family size pork pie,
crisp pastry, good quality well seasoned pork, not too much jelly makes the pie easily sliceable, I get one every Christmas but it never lasts more than an hour. I could eat one now

Scotch eggs are generally OK except when they fart in your face when you bite into them

My rule of thumb on meaty snacks is always go for the traditional butcher option rather than the petrol station variety

I went downstairs to get a pork pie but they'd all been replaced with cheap samosas.

Nah, Mrs King's from Borough market. Any pork pie that costs £5 wants to be good!
We don't have to save the world. The world is big enough to look after itself. What we have to be concerned about is whether or not the world we live in will be capable of sustaining us in it.

I might check it out tomorrow. Is it traditional or has it been visitied by the fusion food mob? eg. Pork 'n Pesto or Pork 'n Wasabi
