4: Professional body membershipMy all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think. -
Be wary - as someone who has been through it I can testify to the fact that if you want to do a worthwhile programme it is a LOT of work. Young family/very little time to study don't make an ideal combination if you want a decent MBA.Originally posted by TazMaN View PostI want to do an MBA, more for personal achievement than anything else, but at this time (young family) I have very little time to study. Also I find it hard to find any justification with regards to having a MBA in this career path.
Don't worry about the grumpy gits here - most of them are just jealous. If you want advice about MBAs and what's involved I am happy to take it offline so this lot don't take the piss out of you.Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

Been to the interview - got a provisional offer subject to the online application form.
I was concerned about my lack of a degree but my business, IT and plan b experience was more than acceptable - and the best bit.....
60% of the first year is funded by you tax payers.... Cheers!!!

I've got nothing against MBA's
The only things I've read are:
1) go for quality rather than price
2) they are mainly for those under 40, a bit of a waste of money for anyone over that age (that snippet was from The Times...)"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
