I want to do an MBA, more for personal achievement than anything else, but at this time (young family) I have very little time to study. Also I find it hard to find any justification with regards to having a MBA in this career path.

Be wary - as someone who has been through it I can testify to the fact that if you want to do a worthwhile programme it is a LOT of work. Young family/very little time to study don't make an ideal combination if you want a decent MBA.

Don't worry about the grumpy gits here - most of them are just jealous. If you want advice about MBAs and what's involved I am happy to take it offline so this lot don't take the piss out of you.

Been to the interview - got a provisional offer subject to the online application form.

I was concerned about my lack of a degree but my business, IT and plan b experience was more than acceptable - and the best bit.....

60% of the first year is funded by you tax payers.... Cheers!!!

I've got nothing against MBA's

The only things I've read are:

1) go for quality rather than price

2) they are mainly for those under 40, a bit of a waste of money for anyone over that age (that snippet was from The Times...)
