Not sure really, I just really wanted to have one. I got my first one about 7 years ago... I wanted one for ages... just took me forever to find the design I wanted and then try to find an artist I was happy with.

Usually I spend about 18 months trying to pick a design and agonise over it before I am really happy enough to go for it!

Since becoming a Mason I've thought about having a masonic tattoo.

            I now have one.
I'd always thought membership was supposed to be a secret. Have Masons 'come out' recently?

I've got a friend whose back is covered by a single design. I saw it just after he had the last bit done and it completely put me off the idea

It did? See that kinda thing encourages me... it's just difficult to stop, once you have one... they are addictive and I am running out of places to have them that I can hide!

Lets face it - when I'm queueing up for my pension, the young fella behind the counter won't want to see my ink!

They take a long time to do? And you have to sit there while somebody sticks needle things in you.

I won't ask where you have them
