Probably sooner than you might think - saw in the metro this morning they are pulling a load of routes out of Manchester!

Seems to be a negotiating tactic to get landing fees reduced. Same thing with Stansted.

Currently Manchester stand to lose almost 2 million pounds of next year's revenue, and it appears that they are too late because Ryanair have already announced that they will stop 44 flights a week from 1st October. Well done Ryanair. Stuff the parasitic airport services !!

Let's rename the whole of England to London.

Tourism country wide would benefit and we could all work for banks without needing to commute into the City.

House prices would automatically go up to London prices and we'd all be BOOMED.

Side benefit: Estate agents and pimps would be seriously confused.
