A short-term study of Twitter has found that 40% of the messages sent via it are "pointless babble."

Only 40%? So whats so different about the other 60%?? How is it in any way useful to know that Stephen Fry had an egg and four soldiers for breakfast???

Mine are 100% pointless babble.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
