Thanks Churchill. I thought I was going to be even more of a pariah than I normally am.

I'll keep an eye out for those other a holes in case they try and nick any other contracts.

Have you considered maybe working other than in banks? Or would that destroy your sense of self-worth?

I have been working within Banking for over 10 years! And in present contract for just over half of that. Before the flame throwers come out I know I've had a good run, but I have also lived pretty well and am not sitting on a pot of gold now.

Also I look around and see the level of some of the contractors working in my present bank and I find it hard to believe how some of them have jobs.

        Rant over !
UK technology jobs were sacrificied to protect other UK industries at the world trade talks. Should these get ratified it will get worse.

All contracts do come to an end sometime and the fact that he had it for 5 years shows that he must have been dong something right! right?

I see a lot of banking jobs on jobserve (seems they are hiring again), in fact I have to use the fliter to filter them out so that they don't clutter up my search results.

I would have thought if he had 10 years banking then he could easily ace one of these said banking contracts that are on jobserve...?

You're making the classic mistake here son.

Anyone care to tell Tiro what his mistake is?

just had a chat with a director of major european IT consultancy, apparently they are sending indians all over the world for 200 EUR/day. expenses included. can you beat that ?
                      this rate is a joke
