I'm going to Majorca, I'm not staying or passing through Palma Nova or Benidorm. I'm going to a quiet up-market resort on the other side of the island. As far away from that flea-pit as you can get and still be in Majorca.

On the otherhand - I like Benidorm - the old town is lovely and you can manage to stay away from the chav fest in the new town quite easily. Assuming you want to of course

Palma city seemed quite nice. I've heard the opposite side of the island to Magaluf et al is pretty nice. Have fun, remember not to say "Palma Nova" to the taxi driver though
