Yep. Definitely not the vehicle of choice if you are going out for a slap up meal.

        DimPrawn is a Walter Mitty
He saves his pennies in a kitty
But the sum total is tiny
        That's why he's so whiney

Dunno, probably driving it too fast The dealer wouldn't tell me what was wrong with it either except it made a knocking/ticking noise which got louder the faster you went. Good Q car though
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

In the 1980s I knew a guy with an M-series who got through several camshaft belts/(chains?), the first one at about 10,000 miles. The factory wouldn't admit a manufacturing or design fault but did pay substantial chunks as goodwill warranty.

                No.

A car like that you want to waft about in comfort but have effortless acceleration when you want it. AMG will be a screaming beast and rock hard suspension. Get the SL500 instead http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1164410.htm (£20K with a bit of haggling).

Does that come with a free comb-over and 17 year old au-pair?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I've had four BMW's and never had any problems whatsoever. Completely flawless and utterly reliable.
