Should I buy a used SL 55 AMG?

I'd get one although the new SL AMG coming out later this year is a beast. Although saying that, my last car was a C32 AMG and I had to replace the engine after around 40,000km and had a few other problems with it. I used to pop by the AMG factory on the way home when I was working in Stuttgart to have a look at some of the rather nice cars there. Saw nicer ones when I was working at the test and development centre of Porsche. Not only did they test Porsche's there but also other companies used the test track and they used to test competitors cars so you would get a wide range of supercars parked around the buildings.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

"The Cardok comes in three variations: Cardok Mono, Cardok, and Cardok Multi. The ‘Mono’ fits only a single car, the ‘Cardok’ houses two cars (stacked), and the ‘Multi’ is double length, capable of housing up to four cars. The Cardok has a capacity weight of ten tons and features its own power generator in the event of a power outage. However, it comes with a hefty price tag. Starting cost is about £40,000 (about $59,000). There is currently a four month wait list, so in the mean time, you’ll just have to make do with your ‘old’ garage. Access via underground from the property can be arranged at extra cost"Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostThe proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek PointsComment
