Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
RH didn't make it for his birthday, must have a life or something
Thanks guys! Has been a hectic day, spent the morning at Mrs RH's graduation, just got back and about to head out for a meal with family.
Much appreciated. The elocution's becoming more eloquent with age, SP. Innit.

Pleased the day has been good so far : have a great evening.
Went to the Gaucho for steak and a spot of nice red. It's a nice place, but a little overrated, had better meals at our local bistrot for half the price. Anyway, good calm evening. Mrs RH stayed at home, as her flu symptoms had worsened. Time to contact NHS Direct today. Erk. We thought she just had a cold. This'll be interesting. She's hardly left the bed today. I feel ok, but I may be working from home for a wee while if the PM sees fit.
Thanks for all your well wishes, and the odd text/PM.
