Politics and economics is far more entertaining than it was 10 years ago for some reason.

I'd rather have a pint with Clive James any day. He doesn't look too well poor chap. He's hugely underatted IMHO.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostHad a pint or two with him some years ago, very likeable chap.Comment

True, I've read a couple of his books and very entertaining they were too. I suspect he would be the better company by far but he doesn't frequent Glasgow pubs unfortunately.Originally posted by Peoplesoft bloke View PostI'd rather have a pint with Clive James any day. I find myself wondering if Clive James is in early stage renal failure?Originally posted by Cliphead View PostTrue, I've read a couple of his books and very entertaining they were too. I suspect he would be the better company by far but he doesn't frequent Glasgow pubs unfortunately.
(To the tune of "Yellow" by Coldplay):
Look at your skin, look at its off-white hue,
Look at your eyeballs too,
They've gone all yellow
You came to me, you thought you had the flu.
I knew that wasn't true.
You wouldn't be yellow
We took some blood off you
That's just a thing we do
To folks who turn yellow
You're yellow like the desert in Damascus is
You're yellow cos your liver has metastases
Do you know you're really f**cked you know
You're really f**ked you knowComment
