You really take the bisuit. You had the opportunity of moving away from the mafia neighbours when you bought a house at the worst possible time in living memory.
But you moved just down the road.
You accepted a permie job without thinking that you would be commuting hundreds of miles a week. Forever, potentially (this is not a contract remember).
Your amoeba-like brain refuses to accept that there are other options than living where you are or living in the town that you commute to (for example lots of lovely Pennine villages above the old mill towns nearby).
If you had to move when you did, you should have moved to a nice place that is somewhere nearer.
Or stay put and STFU.
