A relative is coming to town and I promised to bring her to a good musical, play, or other entertainment. I've looked through all the obvious stuff and nothing really appeals. Anybody seen something they liked recently? Nothing saucy please.

There are plenty of good musicals, plays and entertainment. Leicester Square is full of 24 hour entertainment, and you don't even have to pay for it. However, if you want a musical...there's plenty of that around. I went to see Les Miserables (thank you NotAllThere) and the Lion King, both really good shows. Nice to have a chance to dress-up.Fiscal nomad it's legal.Comment

You get some interesting stuff for £10 on lastminute.com Basically 'fringe' plays and shows in various locations, generally non-west end but not too far away.
Not really a fan of mainstream musicals. Plays in the west end never seem to change either.Cats are evil.Comment

Well I went to see Wicked with gf Platypus and I thought it was fantastic. So I went again with daughter and still thought it was fantastic.
I'm curious to know how you define a women's show - one with lots of singing and dancing?
