When at the Job Centre I gave them a piece of paper with my National Insurance number on it. They read it and said they would shred it. I queried why and she said you should NEVER give anyone your NI number except the Job Centre or your employer.

So here I am, applying for a permie role and a mandatory field is the NI number, as it always is on permie applications.

Except this is going through an agency, so they get it too.

And while I'm moaning, oh how I hate permie application forms. They take HOURS to fill in. And it is such a dull and boring thing to have to do.

Is jobserve picking up? Have you had any contract leads yet this year?
Phone is starting to ring again (for code monkey jobs at least)

I haven't much looked at contracts today; I've been plodding through some of the outstanding permie application forms. And I still am.
