Just announced on the news that the 29th victim was a 'healthy' six year-old boy. This follows on from the 'healthy' six year-old girl that died last week.
Glad I don't have kids to worry about.Comment

How many healthy young people die of normal flu?
Wake up. This is serious. You'll realise it in a few months, if you are still alive.
If everything in the world was going swimmingly, I suspect you would just turn up your toes because you'd have nothing to moan about or forcast a doom-ridden future about.
Maybe piggy flu can mutate so that it removes the hard of thinking from the gene pool. What a result that would be.Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

Well, I've got very mild flu symptoms today. Took a couple of paracetamol yesterday after feeling rough with a bit of sneezing and a bad throat for the past two days. According to HMG, only 30% of the population will catch swineflu. That seems a great underestimation to me.Comment

All I asked was people to think about this and compare it to normal flu which does not kill young healthy children and does not occur in great numbers this time of year.Comment
