    Certainly seems that way.

Should have opened with Anderson this morning.
Straus needs to sharpen up on his captaincy.

    Good match for England though.

There's not much swing today, and first-up Onions and Flintoff have been the heroes before.

I'd leave the captaincy to a professional cricket captain.

True - but still my opinion!

Agree with Onions, but Anderson has looked the most dangerous this match.

I think pitch is the main problem.

Oh well - lets hope it swings at Headingly!

Indeed - but swing is such a fickle bedfellow.

I remember us inserting the Australians there on a cloudy, swingy day, and they scored 600 for 4.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Two very average teams (certainly two very average bowling attacks at least).
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Maybe so - but two fairly even teams makes for good cricket.

On performances so far the English attack comes out slightly (only just) ahead of Australia.

True, and both of those points are all that matters this summer. Who cares if Bradman, Warne, Hutton and Botham aren't playing?

on a good day. i think the last test showed that being in form counts and johnson can actually bowl when he wants to.
