I'm looking at following the stock markets (UK, EU and USA and possibly further afield). I have a selftrade account.
Not being an expert in this field (I've always been a fan of property and commodities as they can't go to zero), can anyone suggest some software / online system that:
1. Shows the stock market constituents or my portfolio, their historical prices, volumes, p/e, balance sheet data, dividend yield.
2. Shows the market by sector
3. Allows charts to be drawn with various indicators on them.
Failing this, gives me access to the raw data so I can use Excel to track what I've bought, what I'm watching to buy etc.
Not saying I want to buy into equities at the moment (expecting further falls as the green shoot bulltulip evaporates) but want to be knowledeable on what to buy in the dips.
Cheers,
Thanks for taking this post seriously.
