Yet it is very hard to convince the client that you can work at home.

But the main resistance is from people really. I sometimes want to smack the face of people saying "this is very important, we must discuss in the office" when it is something like like character at position 4 to be "%" or "$". They should be fired, humiliated and exiliated somewhere very far away...

I do wonder how you think you can force people to work just because they are in the office? Besides the internet gateway, the brain can find very clever alternatives not to work.

Far too many distractions at home. Motorbike in the garage and only a short walk to the beach with my kite buggy. What starts out as a 1 hour jaunt at lunch time can easily turn into an all day kite or bike fest. If my mates knew I was at home the door bell would never stop ringing and I would be awash with coffee.
