Theoretically you can but I have never heard of it being done, I know buyers drop out on occasion but I have never heard of a seller breaking the agreement, I think the lawyers would shun away from allowing it to happen, the Scottish law society would probably have some rules against it. I know they have rules against setting offers over prices too low to drum up interest in a property.

The offers over system usually brings out all available buyers on the offers day anyway then the 'missives' are generally signed within a few weeks.

Anyway, just google pedometered the distance to all the local pubs from the new house. Get the important jobs done first

South side of Glasgow, Stayed up the West End for years but when you get near your mid 30s it starts to become a pain. It kind of became a night out destination for much of Glasgow in the last 15-20 years where it was just a place where students drank when I was one.

My exs family live in Bearsden and she lives in Milngavie; I lived in Byres Road for most of my time as a student and loved it but I don't think I'd have enjoyed it quite as much in my 30s as I did when a student.
