Since the 1980s, France has ceased being a country of mass immigration. Meanwhile, the national birth rate, after continuing to drop for a time, began to rebound in the 1990s and currently the country's fertility rate is close to the replacement level. In recent years, immigrants have accounted for one quarter of the population growth - a lower proportion than in most other European countries.

In the UK, the average birth-rate for a muslim family is 3.5, whereas for Christians, approx 1. In only a few generations the Muslim Brotherhood could therefore be in power and thus us under Islamic rule.

      Indeed.
Let's hope it won't trigger civil wars though.

One decade. You need several decades to see a trend. It's quite possible that a slight short term rise in muslim birth rates in France is temporary and corresponds to a slight short term rise in birth rates among other groups. You need to look ate the development of the birth rate over 4 or 5 decades relative to the development of the birth rates of other groups. So when all groups or most groups show a slight rise, is the rise among muslims higher or lower? When all groups show a fall, is the fall among muslims higher or lower?

Anyway, according to those figures Muslims are 5-11% of the population; is that really any basis for making predictions? That's a huge margin of error.

I am not willing to wait until they represent 40% of the population for you to tell me:
Ok, my bad, you were right I was wrong, they were indeed growing at a geometric rate.
Because it would be TOO late.

around 10% in 50 years, ffs!

Absolutely right. It is pretty damn stupid just to ignore the situation and hope that it will go away. Just look what happened in Belfast yesterday with escalating racial tensions. It's not muslims as far as I am aware, but the principles are the same.

40% of 10% of the population is 4%.

I'm sure I can find many crazy ideas out there that will get 4% of the population to say they agree ...

So as soon as you get away with it, you don't bother if your children will live under islamic law?
