Yeah Opera had this two years ago...

Since I upgraded my Mediacentral has stopped working

I didn't realise Safari had this. I've been using that feature of Opera ever since it came out.

like wise, but in opera it's all square? I only use opera on the big screen seems to respond faster but compatibility is sometimes an issue.

Apple borrowed and improved it IMO. Safari is great under OS X, however using Safari on Windows I would say is largely pointless, you may as well use Google Chrome.

Just upgraded to this under OSX and that home screen is a great idea.

I hadn't seen it before but looks handy, why didn't MS nick this for IE8?

They might be in the process of nicking for IE9
