If you complain to Phones4U, you get a standard response from their press office "We like scout masters and in fact have a lot of respect for them and others who support the youth audience. blah, blah" yeah, right.
Here's my prediction - this campaign will backfire big time. The agency's big ticket clients include Lloyds TSB, Westfield and the Telegraph. So I wonder how many Scouts-positive people are among their management? It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. www.areyoupopular.mobiComment

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Victory !!!
They pulled the ad !
"......However, due to the unplanned response the scout master ad has received, we have decided not to feature it in the Metro again. Unfortunately, the ad will be running in a couple of monthly magazines during this period as it is too late to pull these from the campaign as they have already gone to print....."
I can see it now - the agency rep in the Phones4U CEO's office ;It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. www.areyoupopular.mobiComment

Just saw my first Phones4U Yes/No sticker today - slapped on an Essex County Council car park sign, presumably by a 'popular' customer of theirs.
Nice one Phones4U ! I mean, what is a typical 16-24 year old going to do with 50 x stickers? Put them on their bedroom door? Yeah, right. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. www.areyoupopular.mobiComment
