Actually I think that could be a good idea.

    Storm-Chaser Holidays (tm).

Given the coverage of extreme weather phenomenon on the telly, there are no doubt plenty of people who would like an organised package-tour, led by an expert such as Wxman.

A good investment opportunity, I'd say.

Aye, until the Saga bus gets it's top ripped off. There'll be Werthers Originals wrappers everywhere.

I had the Amiga 500+, the improved version where half the games wouldn't work.

Even then I'd be buying 10 packs of floppies from Argos on weekly basis to keep up with the school yard piracy merry-go-round.

The + was a bit poo because of that.

I had a friend who used to download games from a BBS and copy them to floppy for me, he used to sell me floppies in packs of 200 including copying the games. Happy days

I used to go to a computer club when I had my Commodore 64. The sole purpose of the club was playing and pirating games. Those were the days, think we had every pirating device known to man. Including a thing called freeze frame (it think) and some peripheral port circuitboard you could plug two of the commodore cassette mashines into, think it amplified the signal. It was much more relaible than normal tape to tape on a hi fi. God I feel old!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

The first rule of computer club is you don't talk about computer club.

We had a guy there who was into making bombs. He got investigated by the secret service. Last thing I know he was trying to build a jet engined powered motorbike!

I'm surprised that they manage to book a hire vehicle and get insurance for it. The first documentary showed Wxman booking a car and the hire woman's face dropping when he mentioned (jokingly) that it was going to be used for storm chasing. After all they are going out of their way to put it in the path of adverse vehicle conditions, including high wind, high velocity debris, giant hailstones and mad cameramen. The vehicles are presumably covered in dents afterwards and possibly lack a window or two. I wonder if Wxman has no claims protection?
