If it so boring why do you feel the need to post comments then?Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Just had a thought.
I reckon with 80 million you could buy every player in the entire Scottish league.
You could almost by every club too (Apart from the mighty hoops of course) ...Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

They somehow doubled up on all the Barcelona players, except Iniesta in the last minute.Originally posted by snaw View PostCause they doubled up on marking him ...
I've watched enough of him in the spanish league and playing in the CL to realise he's something very very special - and he's very young still ...Comment

Don't talk to ardent scousers about football debts. Liverpool are in deep. We might be able to sign Glen Johnson if we raid the piggy bank.Originally posted by snaw View PostGawd, this is soo ill informed it's not even worth correcting.
And btw I'm no man u fan, but I'm sure even the most ardent scouser could set you right on this ...Bored.Comment

Startling that it wouldn't buy that championship team Newcastle though.Originally posted by snaw View PostJust had a thought.

Someone on the radio made an interesting comment, saying that no-one would criticise a film company for investing £150 million in a best seller, as they'd get back the money and more from box-office takings. Aparently the Real chairman believes the image rights etc for the likes of Ronaldo will more than recoup the transfer fee. Indeed he claims that the cheapest signing he ever made was for Zidane (I can;t remember precisely how much, but I think it was in the region of £50 million).Originally posted by snaw View PostI don't think any sportsman in the world is worth 80 million. But that's apparently the going rate now.
I think if we're comparing the only other player at his level is messi.
Edit. And he's younger and better than Kaka.Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas. Plus here on TwitterComment

The problem for Man U now will be when they look to buy replacements. Suddenly they'll find the price has gone up, even for average players. Having said that, they probably needed to sell before the contract started to run out (and Ronaldo could leave for zilch)Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas.
