We got charged by some bullocks the other week on a public footpath. Just made it over a stile in time, scary stuff especially when you have a 8 month old and 2 yr old with you

Depends on the breed. Herefords are known for their docility. So much so that when the pilgrims went off to America they took a Hereford bull on the ship with them; it was the only breed calm enough to tke on a long sea journey without the ship being kicked to tulip. It's thought that until recently all the cattle in the US was decended from that one hereford bull.Originally posted by cailin maith View Post

Mind you, it's easy to be docile when you're one ton of beef with two big horns on your head. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

No. I tend to think that way when I see deer, lambs, wild boar, buffalo etcOriginally posted by Menelaus View PostJust a quick thought.
Am I the only person who, when they see a cow instantly thinks "steak"?
You need the right breed of cow though. Angus or Hereford are great; good continental beef breeds are Simmentaler, Belgian Blue and dutch 'Dikbil'.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
