Umm, bit of a sweeping generalisation isn't it?

Not denying it's there (It is, I grew up with loads of them). But it's in no way exclusive to those communities - I've met plenty of bigots from middle class backgrounds as well ...

They are therefore getting their support from working class people who have to live day to day with the influx of immigrants, many of who cannot speak English and apparently go straight into the welfare system.

The repatriation of Blacks, the banning of Black people from being members of their own party are glazed over. In my view they are picking up votes because of the failure of our immigration systems.

The problem is this blasted Human Rights Laws we have signed up to in Europe. Even if a government comes in and tries to do something - some lawyer will be involved! It is a total mockery

I had the fortunate opportunity to speak with a head at the UKBA and there new efforts. They have ramped up their respective teams for Border Control but even then that is not enough. They need like over 40,000 people to do an effective job. So in essense - they need more money and less laws - as silly as that sounds.

We just need a tough stance now on immigration and illegals. When someone mentions housing them in compounds then the namby pamby liberals come out with their silly comments. When we recommend returning them on the next plan - it's there human rights.

      What do you do?

1.1 Section 29 of the Immigration Act 1971 enables financial assistance to be given towards the travel costs of persons (if this in their best interests) who are neither British citizens

Surely this would discount from the BNP proposals those people who have settled in the UK already and taken UK citizenship?

Also: the word in that manifesto bit above that tulips me right up, frankly, is ethnic. Boz, anyone?

Like I said, the legislation exists, the BNP want to expand it. It does rather undermine some of the accusations levelled at the BNP though doesnt it.
In fact Griffin last night said that the current form of the act was racist in that it did not allow certain people to return to their land of ethnic origin.

I also wonder what the BNP regards as active encouragemnt.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Strange how the left wing thinks it's OK to resort to violence to counter the BNP
A British National Party (BNP) member was attacked with a hammer when protesters arrived at a campaign event in Greater Manchester.
Violence broke out as 30 people surrounded a BNP vehicle outside the Ellesmere Pub in St Helens Road in Leigh on Friday evening, said police.
As Mr Griffin arrived at the North West count - held in Manchester's town hall - on Sunday, his car was surrounded by noisy protesters, who broke one of its windows.
Mr Griffin was forced to return later and enter the building by the back entrance, accompanied by several minders.
Police said one man was arrested in scuffles when Mr Griffin tried to get into the building.
What happened to the concept of "I disagree with what you say, but will defend your right to say it"
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I grew up in one of those communities, I know how bigoted they can be, guess my point was it's not exclusive to them. You don't generally find better off areas voting BNP because there's a stigma attached and they have alternatives; UKIP for example who're more palatable (Not saying they're racist btw) to the middle classes.

I think in working class communities, in England, once you decide to go against labour then it's unlikely you'll ever vote tory/liberal so what's left?

Might be completely wrong in this, just my 2c.

So some guy goes for Nick Griffin, and that's representative of the 'left wing'?

We don't half have some morons posting here.
