Yep! I suspect the reason for leathers is that, if/when I come off at 120mph all of my organs are kept in a filled bag so all the transplant team need to do for an organ snatch is to unzip me

Yes they do bend, I can still (at 42) bite my toenails. However, consider the seat height and placement of the foot pegs and work out where my knees would be. Not conducive to a comfortable riding position.
