Forget it; this battle has been lost. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

The IT industry is going the same way as shipbuilding in this country. Asian shipbuilders used to come up the Clyde with cameras taking photos of how we built ships and everyone just laughed, 20 years later and they had taken the entire industry.
Anyway, must plough on with Plan B.Comment

Apart from anything else, we have a points-based skills immigration system because PCG made it happen. Shame that NL are so incompetent at drafting legislation they left a nice big hole in it to allow for specialist requirements - such as .NET and SQL - that the existing onsite offshore teams suddenly discover they need.
So no problem, I wonder who is going to raise that one with HMG... you?Blog? What blog...?Comment

I'm a sad a bitter old man.
However, I'm trying to move on. As part of bitter/moving on I built a Plan B and took it abroad so now Hector gets 100% of nothing.
I still ponce off the UK health care system though. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
