Bagpuss, I don't think anyone on this forum would deny the Holocaust, let alone support it. What annoys me is that we seem to have a double standard in this country. We are told to celebrate diversity and other cultures, but if we try to celebrate our own we are branded racist little Englanders.

Valuing our own history and culture is not racist. This country represents a set of values and a history that pre-dates Rome. Anyone who comes to this country is (or should) be aware of that history, culture and values - and surely this is the attraction of coming here. For example, people go to America because it represents the land of freedom, equality and opportunity.
