I've not shared BrownIssues issues, despite renting for years. I always take fully furnished, view it first, if it's a dump full of cr4p, don't take it!

There's plenty of choice out there now, an oversupply of rentals. Avoid the reluctant landlord that can't sell however, they'll be having viewers in and chucking you out at the first opportunity, more trouble than it's worth.

Is there any law that defines that as a minimum a fully furnished flat should contain....

I personally would expect to only have to bring clothes plus very few other things as per my last place. What would you expect in a fully furnished flat?
Hahaha! You should have specified what you wanted in your 'furnished' flat as part of your agreement to rent then agreed the amount per month.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Havers. Last flat I rented through an agency had everything I could ask for. All i needed was a bag of clothes, food and my laptop.

5 minutes from work, with a pub two doors along. Smashing
