          But the irony is that I have proven with references that during Thatcher time UK car industry started being involved with the Japanese - you clearly did not know that yet you felt qualified to talk about this subject saying how easy it is to think about it with hindsight

                Indeed, you shouldn't - clearly the knowledge of history of this country is optional for recruiters and (possibly) avid Thatcher supporters.

                Did not study in British secondary school, but just curious - at what point did UK history lessons became optional?
