I now know when to stop. I learnt it sometime between the ages of 18 and 25 when I had lots of practice.

What I have found is that ever since I reached 35 (over 10 years ago) the limit at which I've had enough has continually decreased. It's definitely quality over quantity these days. I really love drinking, I mean that, I really do, but I make sure what I drink is worth drinking so that although I don't have the absolute capacity that I used to, I savour the experience much more.
