I guess its one consolation if I snuff it with the flu -at least I didnt waste my money in a pension fund - wasted it on Wine Women and Song - much better investment !Comment

Theres a whole bunch of suspect cases in spain, but now one has been confirmed there is a fair chance some of the others will prove to be the real deal too.

It's not a case of panicking, but it shows how quickly the situation is escalating. In almost 10 years of Birdflu it never reached these proportions so quickly. If one case has been confirmed you can bet that many other cases are currently incubating and thus passing it on to hundreds of others, who in turn will do the same to others. This is truly worrying.

It won't live up to the hype. I won't be satisfied that it has lived up to expectations with anything less than 80% mortality worldwide now.Comment

Bird flu was never a human to human thing. Kills the birds, kill the problem.Originally posted by Cyberman View PostIt's not a case of panicking, but it shows how quickly the situation is escalating. Piggy-Plague is human to human, so its spread is seemingly inevitable*.
