Preferably, as quickly as possible.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. Indeed, given his status and importance, it would only be right to give exemption in this case, as a mark of respect for the man and all that he has done for the country.
Think of it as a parting gift from a grateful electorate.
