AtW !! You are quite into all these 'conspiracy theories' stuff..arent you....
No wonder how you became 'Lord of Squirrels'Comment

Err, because trip to USA over oceans is much longer and unlike UK in the USA they have got monitoring of ships and even if nuke hits some part of US they still have plenty of space to move to, where as UK will be screwed - 50 mln people live on a very small island.Originally posted by Pickle2 View Poster, why?
Also, it seems to me that it is easier for Al Quaeda to conduct operations in the UK than USA - after 9/11 they did not have big terrorists acts (like 7/7) there despite guns being available.Comment

Did Russia ever find those missing nuke suitcase bombs that went missing after the collapse of the USSR?Originally posted by AtW View PostNo, but they can load up nuke on a ship and blow it in water not far from London - it's much harder for the same boat to make trip to USA and frankly one nuke in the south of UK would result in a huge growth in houses prices up noft, particularly Scotland. How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

Those are a bit of a myth - they probably next existed and even if they were they'd be in storage.Originally posted by Troll View PostDid Russia ever find those missing nuke suitcase bombs that went missing after the collapse of the USSR?Comment

Was the population of the UK not a question during your citizenship test?Originally posted by AtW View Postwhere as UK will be screwed - 50 mln people live on a very small island. How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

it was, and that's 60 mln - I meant around 50 mln live outside of Scotland (and Wales) in the area that is going to be affected by the blast.Originally posted by Troll View PostWas the population of the UK not a question during your citizenship test?Comment

There is a reason why they're designed to detonate in the air, it's called the horizon, you div. I suspect the more realistic thing to happen would be for the bomb to be planted in a van or other such large object. Why would you float it up the river?Originally posted by AtW View PostNo, but they can load up nuke on a ship and blow it in water not far from London - it's much harder for the same boat to make trip to USA and frankly one nuke in the south of UK would result in a huge growth in houses prices up noft, particularly Scotland.Comment

I hope Taleban take over then start a war with India. Hopefully will sever all comms links between us and them. Will teach those offshoring clients a thing about the cost of political instability.Comment

That gives the bomb maximum efficiency - you don't need that for their terror purposes, even if yield will be 1 kt then this (and radioactive contamination) will be enough to cause serious problems in this country: London might need to be abandoned.Originally posted by the_duderama View PostThere is a reason why they're designed to detonate in the airComment
