It's a shame about the massive clutter everywhere on that site, because the animation of the person climbing down the page (Ling, I presume) is actually quite effective. On its own.
yeah, that animation is very well done! Theres not a lot on the web these days that makes me go oooh (bar the Hun!).
I hate Flash websites. I decided not to eat in this place tonight because it's go such a bloody irritating website.
Any other companies you refuse to do business with on the basis of their bloody irritating website?
No web site could possibly be as irritating as expert sex change.com - The parasites trawl every techie forum on Earth, winkling out helpful tips and answers to questions, and they always pop up in searches, with the answer to exactly the right question hidden unless you pay a subscription

If you arrive at expertsexchange from a search engine result then the answers are displayed in all their glory at the bottom of each page. Stack Overflow seem to be pissing on EE's chips these days anyway.

Indeed - I know a dude who pays the subs so I decided to keep quiet when I noticed this :-)
That Consumer Action group (remember them?) is pretty awful - as well as having a fab section with advice for all the poor unfortunate people who have been caught shoplifting and are being asked to pay compensation by nasty evil capitalist retailers. I won't be buying their guides to anything.

Not figured out that if you access it direct from google (aka don't search site direct) and scroll way down page past the site index all the comments/answers are revealed?
Think they have to do that to get the good ranking they get otherwise google would be only able to index the question never the answer
Edit tried linking an example but seems the referer has to be google (or other major search engine) to view comments, just put in google "asp.net xml sql import" and click experts-exchange link (should be 4th down), scroll down and you will see the answers, then refresh page and you will see them all vanish

Excellent information and posted on 40 or so minutes after Voodooflux had already posted it.
FFS I've been ignoring EE results for years... now you tell me.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
