Linen clothes - rantette

Every bloomin year I do this!
The minute It gets sunny I go out and buy linen trousers & tops - which look great for exactly 9 mins 13 secs - then they look as if you've slept in them for 12 weeks

Why do I do this?
I have discovered spray starch - which does help when you iron them, but It only puts off the inevitable 'bag lady' look

Do men have similar wardrobe annoyances..

I suspect not.

I find most linen clothing rather see through in bright sunlight..

I bought a very sharp looking, and expensive, may I add, linen suit in Venice.

Looked good in the shop, looked good on the hanger in my wardrobe.

Didn't last the 9 minutes that your's did Pogle.

Complete waste of money.

Linen's only good for tea-towels IMO.

Only new linen clothes actually look ironed. I think Pogle was hoping to avoid the "bag-lady" look.

This kind of logic doesn't apply to women buying clothes!

I think the trick is to buy Linen Mix (although I have no idea what it's mixed with!) That seems to keep it's shape a bit longer than just Linen.

Pogle I am the same as you - I have more linen in my wardrobe than I can handle but I love it for summer and for holidays

Try harder when ironing them. Iron them while slightly damp.

Or buy better quality
