    Indeed, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous a city, is kind of my point. And as cities go it's not a clasic by any stretch, and it's not even good by Columbian standards.

    You want amazing architecture, great nightlife ect then go to Cartagena - tulips all over Bogota in every respect.

      I was particularly struck by the architectural beauty of Candelaria. The north of Bogota is the wealthy area so most buildings are modern brick properties and it is thus also the best place to stay for security. Cartagena is definitely on my future list !!

          People who resort to abuse in debate lose the argument as well as respect of others. I try never to lose my temper, and thus Sasguru is on my ignore list.
