A condom and sandal manufacturer in Manchester, SSL International, has experienced a trade boom during the economic crisis.
The rubber firm said that demand for its products was continuing and it was experiencing an annual profit growth of 30%.
The company, which owns sites in Urmston and Trafford Park, sells Durex and Scholl footwear.
It made in excess of £640 million last year.
Chief executive Garry Watts said: "As a consequence of this underlying sales growth, continuing cost control and the benefit from favourable currency rates, we continue to expect to announce reported operating profit growth in excess of 30%."
