Get with the program!!! It's no longer the 60's when 4mm knots and vespas were the norm. Fat tie knots are in. The fact that Lewins and Pinks sell mostly Windsor collar shirts (Requiring Windsor or Double Windsor Knots) make the situation prolific in the city.Comment

Spooky! I was asked how to do one of those last night. Bastard waited untill I was on my third (and final these days) pint, so I made a hash of it.
This is how it is done: How To Tie A Tie - Full Windsor Knot
Now go and get dressed properly. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Full Windsor sucks as a tie knot.
The fact most city types prefer it reinforces the fact that its for retards!
You never see james Bond sporting a Full Windsor knot!Comment

I a supporter of the Windsors knot (Half and Full). If you have a Windsor collar , which is mostly what you will find in a half decent shirt shop, you dont have much choice. Shops will moreoften stock the current fashion or customer preference. If you want to use a smaller knot, buy your shirts at M&S or Chavsda where they are probably about 15yrs behind current trends.
Chances are most on this forum dont wear a tie to work anyway so whats the problem??Comment
