You're so wrong - and you've clearly just shown that all you know of that particular show is what you've read in The Sun, cause anyone who actually watched it knows that the media made a complete mountain out of a mole hill. There was no bullying by Jade. And I also wouldn't have said there was any racism shown by her. Ignorance, yes. But racism, no.
The other 2 lasses (Danielle Lloyd and that Jo from SClub) - they were most certainly bullies. But not Jade.

This is utter lazy, opinionated garbage by Parky if you ask me.

a) Jade was certainly not "exploited till the day she died". What a load of tulipe. She had the sense to make the absolute best of her situation (before AND after the cancer) to make as much cash as she could. How on earth is that her being exploited?
b) "brought up on a sink estate" - as someone who was also brought up on a council estate I utterly frolicking despise this comment.
c) She was never seen as a "slapper" in her big brother days at all. It's not as if she shagged in the house (although there was that possible wink - hardly slapper territory though)
d) Saying that Jade represented "all that's paltry and wretched about Britain today" - what's that then Micheal? The uneducated, celebrity obsessed masses? Like the people who've kept you in a job for the last frolicking 40 years?

Just a couple of points
I agree on point a. I initially thought she was being exploited but then saw it as her maximizing what was left of her income.
On point b as you came from that background you cannot argue that for the most part, those who live there do fail to achieve much with their lives due to lack of education etc. Jade certainly wasn't educated and this was obvious from the outset. However she stuck lucky getting on BB and did become a role model for pretty much every under achiever in the UK. Why work hard when you can make a mint being thick and going on BB.
On point C she was seen as a slapper at the time. Wasn't she the one who got her kebab out on the telly? I recall the press going to town on her at that point.
I agree on D though, but I suspect that those who liked Jade goody might well have seen Parky as a little too high brow.

She was entertaining to start with - a pleasure to watch. She made people laugh, and people took her into their hearts.

The problem was that there where at least 2 types of people laughing. Those who laughed along because they were as thick as she was and those who laughed at her for being thick. Those in the second group grew tired of her pretty fast. Those in the first never saw a problem with her. Stupid actions can be funny when you first see it happen. When it is carried out time after time after time it just becomes annoying.

Then after that she "wrote" for many girls mags (I'm not expecting any of you lot to have read any of them - but it doesn't mean they didn't exist).
She also hosted 2 "fly on the wall" documentaries - one about a Salon that she owned and ran, and one about her life in the media circus - both quite interesting
She also had a range of clothes. And she had her own perfume.

Do you really think she sat at home mixing scents or designing clothes? You know in the same way the Beckhams didn't either. These things come as part of being famous. The companies picked her to promote their product because they knew that there were a load of people out there who would buy her perfume simply because her name was on the bottle. I don’t know of anybody who has eau d’Jade or whatever they called it. These were the very same people who dropped her like a stone when she had that whole racism thing kick off. You can't argue that she wasn't famous but I fall firmly into that camp who could never see the justification in her fame.

She did stuff all the time - obviously stuff that the likes of you lot on here wouldn't be interested in, but many hundreds of thousands of other people were!

And for which she got very well paid. Lots of people like rugby but I don't. Lots of people like Oasis but I don't like them either. The one thing I would say though is that rugby players and Oasis have a certain degree of talent to justify their status. Jade didn't. She was simply a loud mouthed racist chav who stuck lucky and managed to extend her 15 minutes of fame for considerably longer than most people liked. I for one am sorry that she is dead as she does leave two young lads without their mum but I’m sure there will be another loud mouthed unintelligent media hyped fool along soon to replace the void..

Well put Tony, especially about her being role model of making it without actually hard work etc - that's my main problem with the likes of her: if you managed to get some easy money that you didn't deserve then keep your mouth firmly shut and don't ruin it for others.

I enjoy doing my work. Did it ever occur to you that some people can do such things without the need for huge amounts of money?

It's certainly not something Jade Good would do since it would require a lot of hard work, not-insubstantial amount of talent and also nearly complete lack of coverage, apart from faithful fans from cUK.
